Find Your TRIBE

We cannot FLOURISH alone.

As Summer draws to a close and the Fall season is around the corner, I am compelled to evaluate opportunities to connect with others.

Am I in a group of authentic women who can be open, honest and support one another?

What is lacking in my connection groups?

What do I really need and want in this season of my life?

The Fall season feels like a new year to me and I feel energized to go deeper in my faith and relationships during the transition out of summer.

I am intrigued by the fact of increasing statistics of loneliness in our society even though technology provides a multitude of ways to connect. This leads me to my next question.

Is there depth and quality to my relationships or am I trying to portray an image dictated by our culture, comparing myself to others?

I am now working as a Family Specialist in CC4C and have created a well-being program for our families. As we meet with each family, listen to the mom’s from past years, one thing is clearly evident. They are a TRIBE. They want a TRIBE. They find support, strength, refreshment, ideas and renewed faith through meeting together. I am inspired and fulfilled.

The truth is: Community nourishes us.

Find your TRIBE.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
